Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten)

Jason Stackhouse is the sexy air-headed brother of Sookie Stackhouse. During the day, Jason is a part-time construction worker. His real job starts when night falls, working his way into the pants of every woman of Bon Temps. Word gets around fast in a small town, and Jason's little sex-capades are known by the whole town. From the very beginning of the first season, Jason is seen banging a local chick named Maudette. When shown a video of Maudette having sex with a vampire, Jason is disgusted and yet interested. Jason is also "dating" Dawn, a waitress working at Merlotte's. Since Jason thinks from the waist down, he rarely thinks about his actions very deeply, getting him constantly in a load of trouble. However, there never seems to be a shortage of women waiting to get in bed with him. Even after being accused of murder and getting involved in taking "V," the ladies just can't stay mad at him and is good looks for long.

Nurturing an impressive body of work that encompasses film and television, Ryan Kwanten has positioned himself as one of Hollywood's most promising talents as his career continues to evolve with exciting and challenging projects. Ryan's television credits include the role of Jay Robertson in critically acclaimed Warner Bros. series 'Summerland,' which ran for two reasons. He was also a lead in the ESPN original movie 'The Junction Boys.'

Segueing effortlessly between the big and small screen, Ryan recently finished working onthe Luke Kasdan feature film 'Don't Fade Away' opposite Mischa Barton. His other feature film credits include'Flicka,' a Twentieth Century Fox film in which he starred opposite Tim McGraw, Maria Bello and Alison Lohman; the title role in 'American Brown,' which received the Audience Award for Best Film at the Montreal Film Festival; 'Liquid Bridge,' nominated for Best Picture at the Australian Film Festival; and the newly released 'Dead Silence' directed by James Wan (writer/director of 'Saw').

Ryan Kwanten was born November 28, 1976 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. A native of Australia, Ryan began his acting career while attending Sydney University, where he earned a degree in business. In an interview, Ryan revealed that he was picked up by an acting agency when he was dragged along by his mom and brother on the way to swimming practice. From then on he starred in numerous feature films and television shows and gained international notoriety when he joined the cast of the long-running Australian series 'Home and Away.' A published writer, Ryan is currently working on a new book. Also an accomplished athlete, Ryan qualified for the world Biathlon in Sweden in 2005 and Italy 2007 after winning the LA biathlon series two years running. He is a qualified yoga instructor and spends his free time bike riding, surfing and completing triathlons. Ryan currently resides in Los Angeles.

I love watching Ryan Kwanten act as Jason Stackhouse in True Blood. I'm really glad that they show off his beautiful, sculpted body. He is a truly gifted actor to be able to play so many different characters in the films and shows that he's acted in. I also love how well rounded of a person he is. He is a yoga instructor, accomplished athlete, and wonderful actor. I'm a bit sad that we don't get to hear his sexy Australian accent in True blood, but he's still just as cute playing Bon Temps' Jason Stackhouse.

Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard)

Eric Northman is the sexy 1000 year-old Nordic Vampire sheriff of Bon Temps. Eric is first introduced in episode 4 as the owner of club Fangtasia where humans can offer themselves to vampires for a good time. Sookie meets Eric when she tries to solve the death of town locals, Dawn and Maudette, who both were found with fang marks on her bodies. Thinking that vampires are somehow related to her death, Sookie has Bill take her to Fangtasia where they ask around for information. When Sookie receives an image of a vampire feeding on a man in the bathroom and hears the thoughts of a undercover cop waiting for his raiding team, she warns Eric about the danger. At first, Eric is doubtful, but as soon as the cops come busting in, he is proved wrong. As Bill and Sookie follow Eric to safety, Eric makes it clear that Sookie will be returning to his club. As the season progresses, Eric's character becomes more interested in Sookie as he learns about her telepathic powers. Although he is seen as a cold and unfeeling bastard, there is an underlying hint that there is more to the old and powerful vampire than meets the eye.

Alexander Skarsgard, the actor playing Eric Northman, was born on August 25, 1976 in Stockholm, Sweden. His past credits include "Exit," "Kill Your Darlings," "The Last Drop" and "Zoolander." His upcoming film is "13 TZAMETI" directed by Gela Babluani starring opposite Sam Riley, Mickey Rourke, Ray Winstone and 50 cent. His other projects include the films "Metropia."
On television, he starred as 'Sgt Brad Colbert' in the critically acclaimed HBO mini-series "Generation Kill". Alexander is currently a series regular on the HBO hit show "True Blood," playing 'Eric' and ancient vampire.
Skarsgard directed "To Kill a Child" which won the Grand Prix and Press Awards at the 2003 Danish Film Festival. He has worked in film, television and theater since age seven. A former Sergeant in the Swedish Marines, Skarsgard currently resides in Stockholm and Los Angeles.

As the series goes on, I find that Eric is much sexier in the second season. With his new hair and more frequent showing of skin, he has an absolutely alluring look to him. I quickly fell in love with his character as soon as they introduced him in the first season episode four. I also appreciate the depth that Alex Skarsgard brings to his character. The loyalty that Eric shows at times when you want to hate him so much brings a refreshing rush of admiration for the vampire.

Well, I hope you guys liked this bio! Please look forward for more!

First Post

Hello everyone! This is very exciting! This is my first post on a blog! When I created this blog, I had the idea of posting whatever caught my attention at the moment. Currently, I am absolutely obsessed with the HBO series, True Blood. I absolutely love the cast and the plot. What better way to start off my blog with a little introduction to this show?

True Blood - Season 1

True blood is a HBO series directed by Alan Ball about Vampires finally being able to reveal themselves and live amongst the humans. The Japanese have ingeniously figured out a formula to create synthetic blood called Tru Blood in place of human blood. Even though there is now a substitute, as usual, the real thing is obviously better. This series is based in a small southern town, Bon Temps, Louisiana. The main character, Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin), is a telepathic and quite naive young woman working as a waitress at Merlotte's. Sam Merlotte (Sam Trammell) is Sookie's owner as well as one of her friends and the owner of Merlotte's. Sookie's childhood best friend, Tara-Mae Thorton (Rutina Wesley) starts working in Merlotte's as the bartender in the first episode after quitting her job when she lost her cool on a customer. Tara's cousin, Lafayette Reynolds (Nelsan Ellis) is the flamboyant, gay cook working in Merlotte's. His colorful choice of words and make-up make him one of the most interesting characters (in my opinion) in the series. Another character to notice is Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten), the sexy, air-headed brother of Sookie and the person of which Tara holds special affections for. Although Jason has brains the size of a peanut, he has the sex drive of horny teenager who accidentally took Viagra and was locked in a room of pretty girls. Anyways, Bon Temps gets its first vampire when tall, dark, and handsome Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer) steps into Merlotte's asking for a bottle of True Blood. Sookie automatically warms up to Bill as she starts chatting with him. Always burdened with the power of being telepathic, Sookie is able to enjoy some peace and be herself around vampire Bill. Even with the warnings of her best friend and boss, Sookie takes an interest in Bill Compton and makes it her goal to make a friend of him. Her relationship with Bill really kicks off when she finds that the Rattrays, the worst human beings Sookie has ever met, kidnaps Bill and tries to steal his blood. After she rids of the Rattrays and saves Bill, he starts warming up to her, thus starting a beautiful relationship and an exciting first season of True Blood!

I hope you guys enjoyed that summary!
